Canadian singer-songwriter Matt Paxton releases his new single, Shore Pine Walk (January 31st) through Other Songs Music Co. The new single comes off the heels of a successful spring release of Paxton's LP, How The Land Lies.

Paxton spent time on the road during the last couple years, touring and playing with the likes of Jason Collett (Broken Social Scene), Blackie & the Rodeo Kings, Chad VanGaalen, Doug Paisley and many more. His latest work began to emerge when he returned from touring, and made the decision to retreat on a pilgrimage of sorts to Vancouver, British Columbia.

This release marks the first on Hamilton's Other Songs Music Co label. Automatically falling for the song, producer Scott Orr sent Paxton some production notes and in late December of 2011, they began recording in Hamilton. The single was performed by Paxton and Orr and features guest vocals by Allison Geleynse.
